bullfrogs and butterflies

Today my little Ave started preschool. She was so excited to go to school! Her good friend, Lili, is in the same class. They will go to preschool on Wednesday and Friday mornings.






I was able to get some pictures of my three little girls before Emilia got on the bus for school. Lydia wanted to wear her backpack, too. Love it!





We met up with Michele, Lili and Miles outside of the school for a few first day pictures. The girls were so cute wearing their backpacks and posing for the pictures. The first of many years in school together...fun!





When I dropped Avery off at her classroom, she wanted to hang up her own backpack. She and Lili found a table with an activity on it and started playing right away. I think having her friend there helped. A familiar face in an unfamiliar situation is always helpful! Her teacher seems excited and ready to take on a room full of preschoolers.




Avery made a fun butterfly for her craft on the first day. It was made out of a coffee filter and a clothespin. She painted it bright colors. She was excited to show it to Daddy and Emilia.
Crazy to think that I have two out of three girls in school now!
