the best of times...part 1

We were blessed to spend a week in July at a cabin nestled on the side of the Rocky Mountains. The cabin overlooked the quaint little town of Bailey, Colorado. Megan and Cody invited us, along with my parents, to stay with them at Megan's family's cabin. To say that we had a wonderful time there would be a huge understatement! The girls still talk about Colorado and the mountains. Even the mention of either one makes Lydia break out in song...singing a cute little tune Emilia made up while we were there. We took so many pictures, which is one of the reasons this post is long overdue. I needed time to sort through them and pick the ones that really captured our time there. Enjoy the beauty and fun that Colorado had to offer...

Thank you, Megan and Cody, for including us on your vacation! We had an amazing, relaxing, beautiful, fun-filled adventure. Our girls experienced the splendor of the mountains for the first time with you. It was definitely the best of times!
