our summer ~ 2012...part 1

June-July 2012 This was the first year both Emilia and Avery played summer ball. They loved it! Avery enjoyed her little t-ball team. She was really good at hitting the ball and running around the bases. We joked that she looked like a bobble head with her big batting helmet and her little body. Emilia had a blast playing softball. She improved a lot with her batting, threw the ball really hard, and ran fast around the bases. She was so excited for every game. Grandma and Grandad came to all but one game. We had a fun cheering section. The Thiessens, Teresa and Mason, Cody and Megan, and Grandma and Grandpa all came to a game, too. It was a busy schedule with all the practices and games, but we enjoyed it so much.
