Since Emilia's birthday is in July, she celebrated her 1/2 birthday at school in January. I took her to the party store a few day before to pick out her plates and napkins. We walked all the aisles, passing up anything girly, and finally decided on wild animals. Anyone surprised?! She wanted to take banana-chocolate chip muffins and chocolate milk for her snack. Daddy was able to take the morning off. We both had a fun time spending part of the morning with her at school. So crazy to see her in a preschool setting!

~Grandparent's Day~
Grandma Donna, Grandma Susie and Grandad were able to join Emilia for school on Grandparent's Day. They all had a good time being preschoolers for the morning. Thanks so much for taking the time to spend the morning with her. She was so happy that you were there with her! Even if there were a few tears.
~Kansas Day~
The kids were supposed to dress western in celebration of Kansas Day. We made a trip to the western store to pick up a shirt. There were only two shirts in her size. A t-shirt with a boot on it for $7.99, and a snap-up collared shirt for $24.99. We tried as hard as we could to get Emilia to pick the less expensive t-shirt, but no, the other shirt "looked more like a cowgirl shirt"! So out the door we went with a $25 shirt that our preschool girl wore for Kansas Day.

Love the western shirt. Looks like Emilia is enjoying preschool and all the activities. So special to get to bring her grandparents to school.
What a beautiful family you have!
