This is the start of my 35th week of pregnancy. I really can't believe how fast the last 8 months have flown by. We are getting anxious to see our little baby girl. Emilia talks about her a lot. She is curious as to how big she is in my tummy. She is excited to hold her and feed her. Avery lifts up my shirt and kisses my tummy. She knows where mommy's baby is, but I am pretty sure she doesn't understand that there really is a baby in there. Whenever she hears a baby cry she will say, "Cry, baby, cry." They are going to be great big sisters!
We don't have the nursery ready for the baby. She will be sharing our room for probably 3 months. After the first of the year we will put Avery and Emilia in the same room and give the baby her own room.
This week, my mom is going to help me wash up baby clothes and toys. I need to clean up the baby swing, bouncer, infant seat, and strollers. I also need to set up the pack and play, think about what to pack for the hospital, and buy a few needed baby items. At times, I get anxious that there is still so much to get ready for and not enough time.
This nesting stage is making me want to organize other things in my house, too. I always have pictures all over my fridge and they just seem to make it look cluttered. So, with a little inspiration from my neighbor and fellow nester, Michele, I hung up a bulletin board in my laundry room to house all the pictures. I actually need a bigger one because I was hoping to hang the girls' artwork and a few more pictures in there. Another project for another day, I guess. I also want to make a couple of bulletin boards for their rooms.
With all that said, we are really excited, anxious, and curious about the little one who is about to change our world!

Love the bulletin board. I moved all my pictures to the side of my fridge like you....now, I might have to get a bulletin board too. :)
It seems like just a couple weeks ago that you were announcing on here that a little blessing was on the way!!! Can't wait to hear that she is safely in your arms! Blessings!!!
